Yes, but you can use Tactical Guard to block/parry them

Not all grounded normals are air unblockable.

Example: Celia II's 2C for whatever reason (it's a fucking cannon) is blockable in the air.

vein's f.5C can be air blocked lol and his forward moving slash special and first hit of dp is air unblockable

I was gonna play both of them because a Magical Girl inspired by the works of Lovecraft is too good to pass up and Kudlak's attacks remind of Marie from Skullgirls, plus he has a Ronald McDonald color.

It's like both of these characters were custom tailored for me.
