Thoughts on Relius Clover

There have been quite a few people around here having the theory that Relius Clover (Carl's father for those who don't know) is going to be the main villain. I would consider myself one of those people. To be fair, nobody can be really sure yet, as most of his character is still in the dark. Most of the information we know, however, seems to point to this:

1. He created Nu.
2. He shoved his own daughter into a puppet, a Nox Nyctores at that.

3. He "mysteriously disappeared"...sounds suspicious
4. Hazama's already a playable character by CS. I know he and Terumi aren't quite the same, but seeing as how Terumi comes out in his DDs and possibly his astral, I don't think he will become a separate character from Hazama. Seeing the current main villian be introduced so early as only the 14th character makes me kind of doubting that he will stay in that role. Besides, Terumi doesn't seem to have much of a motivation in the first place.

I know this might all prove to be false, but to be honest, I kind of want Relius to be the main villain. It would give Carl actual importance to the story aside from just "Has a Nox that makes him crazy". If all of this holds true, then Carl may in fact be a key player or maybe even a hero by the end of the story, even though he seems like an irrelevant nutjob currently.

Anyone willing to put their input or agree/disagree, post here.

What does Hazama have to do with Relius? O_o

I've never seen of heard anything involving Relius at all (including his name until just now)... can you fill me in please?

Relius probably does have a big part in the story, but frankly we don't have much knowledge on him. Hopefully CS reveals more about Relius. He seems sort of "That Man"-ish, since he's shrouded in mystery.

As for Hazama, he's considered the main villain up to this point, and this topic is trying to see whether Relius could in fact be the real main villain.

I have a feeling he will appear in the true ending of CS (assuming there is a console release, which is likely) and have a role much like Terumi in CT's true ending.

He's Carl's Father. Made both Nirvana and Nu. I believe he is one of the 6 heroes (don't quote me on that). Also known as the "Puppet Master". Really, not that much is known about Relius.

In a way, Carl's story is a lot like that of Ed Elric. The difference that really intrigues me, though, is that while Ed's brother became a suit of armor because of a failed experiment on their part, Carl's dad seems to have deliberately put his sister into Nirvana.

It was discussed in another forum somewhere, I'll try to find it. The support behind that is during Carl's true ending, Nirvana reacted to Nu and they fought. I believe somewhere in the CT storyline Carl is the one who is said to be the closest to coming to the truth.
