This page is Gordeau's Resources page. This page is to be used to indiscriminately store just about any pieces of gameplay information that anyone may have that exists about this character, to make for a catalog of preserved content that can (and probably should) be fully realized and transcribed onto main character pages after review.
For simplicity's sake; anything you would want pinned in your character channel or character Discord can go here, such as:

Does not work mid-screen on: Rachel, Nu, Makoto, Waldstein, Vatista(can't be CH), Hilda, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Heart, Yumi
- Note: Ragna requires a micro step 5A in order to combo on him midscreen
- In the corner, you can go for pretty much any route you feel is right for that situation.
- If you have bar to spare and think it's worth it, you can 236BC on the characters it doesn't work midscreen on.

Standing loop and Fuzzy
Gordeau’s standing loop gives him a lot of nice opportunities for good damage midscreen and the flexibility to combo into any routing afterwards. I’m currently looking for a way to use it to optimize his midscreen 5B CH punishes, and the standing loop was one of my ways of starting as much.
A lot of the characters it doesn’t work on are thankfully rare, with the obvious exceptions of Ruby, Yumi and Akatsuki. Neo and the last two are weird on that regard; sdl rising j.B hits them, but connecting j.A on the way down isn’t possible, or at the least not lenient(could be user error, feel free to fact check me if you think I’m wrong). Everyone else in the doesn’t work tier either j.B whiffs or it’s a repeat of the three I mentioned.

Smart Combo 1(4th hit) 5AAAA:
- Worsened the recovery frame difference.
- Increased the untechable time.
- Increase the height of the blowback.
Smart Combo 2(2nd hit) 5BB:
- Increased the pull-in effect to be stronger on ground hit.
- Increased the hitbox of the second hit.
Air Reversal Action:
- Changed the hit effect of the spinning portion to slip down.
Assimilation EX ver.(214C):
- Added throw invulnerability from startup to the end of the attack active frame.
