Vaseraga's oki game revolves around the use of his command throw, 632146L. This is one of the strongest mixup tools in the game due to its relatively high damage, regular throws having large tech windows, and there being very little true high/low mixup in the game.
After a knockdown, you have several ways to land a command throw or punish people for trying to jump away from it. The basic mixup is command throw or c.M, as c.M is typically fast enough to punish jump out or mash attempts and get a full punish. Some of the stronger setup into command throw mixup options are safejump j.L into either command throw or c.M, c.L into either command throw or c.M, or c.M into either command throw or a second c.M.
Once you establish these options, you can start trying things like just immediately going into command throw after a knockdown without ticking into it.
It is highly recommended to practice doing the command throw with technical inputs, as the shortcut version does 1500 damage, compared to the 2000 damage of the technical version. This is a significant difference in damage making mastering the technical input a must for optimizing the character.
