Character Parameters

The 19 characters that appear in this game differ not in just movesets, but basic parameters as well. These basic stats have been broken down into number form and are displayed in the Parameter Table below. Parameters with [F] are listed in frames, and [dot] represents a distance in dots. Getting a grasp on these units can be difficult, so it may be beneficial to compare between characters instead.

Understanding the Parameters

  • Health: Character max health. Tager has the most, while Taokaka and Carl have the least.
  • Negative Resistance: Larger numbers means that it takes longer to enter negative state. Characters like Rachel and Lambda who excel at long distance combat tend to have more negative resistance.
  • Combo Rate: A character's individual damage proration value. Tager, with his shorter combos, has a relatively low combo rate.
  • Move Speed: A character's walking speed. This number represents the distance travelled in a frame. There are different speeds for forwards and backwards movement.
  • Dash: A character's dash characteristics. Initial speed is the instantaneous speed after starting the dash, and speed will increase over time until the max speed is reached. These various values are representations of distance per frame.
  • Step: A character's step characteristics. Movement is the amount of time it takes for the step to finish. Distance is the distance moved per step.
  • Backstep: Backstep characteristics. Movement is the time it takes for the backstep to complete. Invulnerable time is the amount of time immediately after the backstep begins, during which the character is invulnerable. Distance is the distance covered per backstep.
  • Jump Startup: Time it takes to become airborn after a jump input.
  • Air Time: Amount of time airborn after a single jump. Air times for both regular and high jumps are listed.
  • Air Jumps: The number of air jumps that can be completed. A value of [1] means that double jumps are possible, and [2] for triple jumps.
  • Air Dashes: The number of airdashes or air backdashes that can be done.
  • Airdash Time: Movement is the time it takes for the airdash to complete. Time stuck is the amount of time after the input until it can be cancelled into an air move.
  • Air Backdash Time: Movement is the amount of time it takes the air backdash to complete. Time stuck is the amount of time after the input until it can be cancelled into an air move.
