Sorry I'm still new to this whole wiki thing, so I don't know if replying on my own talk page would catch your attention.

Anyway, I'm confused. Because I was also cleaning this section up, before you seemingly undid all of my changes.

This was when I stepped in. And this was your changes. I'm not salty because you undid it or anything, I'm just confused and that was why I asked if the info I added was simply inaccurate.

I just think that it looked nicer like this instead of the way it's set up right now. If I have the time I'd like to change all pages to follow the same structure as well. With version differences stay in their respective sections and general points/similarities at the bottom. However I do understand it's just my preference.

To be honest, your version actually works. It summarizes to the point and you add a line to show that all the other stuff worked the same. I kinda wish Dustloop can do something where we have the explanation first and then the variations, but we got to work with what we have. My only nitpick is that I don't really like it when people use 'you' as a way to explain tech. It feels somewhat demeaning or like it's looking down at people. So go ahead, I don't mind.

Hi, I saw this conversation, and i do agree with having the descriptions below all the data. Just because each row CAN have a description doesn't mean it MUST have one. We can follow the example you have put out for all the moves with multiple versions and auto combos. I'll modify the Trunks page to better illustrate what I think we can do. --Shtkn (talk) 20:29, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

It's 183.81.75.194. I saw your edit Shtkn, I don't really know if I prefer this. Having table headers to space out the text was easier on my eyes, especially the autocombo section.

I'm also not sure if I echo with "explanation top, variations bottom." I feel like the first thing a new player looking this up would wanna see is what's the difference between each versions, and then we can tell them more in-depth points. And in some (most?) cases, explaining the move wouldn't be effective if the readers don't already know what each versions do. I also don't like how you basically have to list out the move twice for every move that have version differences (which this game has a lot of), once for the statistics and the other for description.

Again, I still much prefer the:
L section: Brief summary and version differences.
M/H section: Version differences.
And then more notable points and usages.

However I guess not every move has to follow this formula. Sections like Change the Future might be better off having one description box only at the bottom and some cleaning ups to merge the two paragraphs together, as they are basically the same move just with/without the blast. We can be flexible with this like the other games' character pages, as they also mix formattings as they see fit instead of homogenizing every move with the same formatting.

In this game I think Baseku has a really nice page, up until the Kaioken section...

Should we move this to a different section? Like on the discussion of the Trunks Page?

Yes, let's move it there. --Shtkn (talk) 19:29, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
