Cancels and Links
A Cancel is interrupting the completion of one action with a second. You are canceling one action into another.
In most cases, do one attack and start doing the second attack before the first attack hits the opponent. The second attack will immediately start up after the first attack hits the opponent.
- Late Cancels
- Some attacks don't cancel immediately after hitting the opponent, and instead need to wait for a specific window of time.
Examples of this:
- GGACR Slayer canceling 2K > 2H
- BBCF Hakumen canceling 2A > 3C
A Link is waiting for one action to to end before doing a second.
In general links are harder to do that cancels since one must wait for the first attack to end before entering the second.
