Mitsuru Kirijo is one of the party members in Persona 3. In the RPG game's story, Mitsuru is a third-year student at Gekkoukan High School, the heir to the Kirijo Group, and a member of S.E.E.S. who was granted her Persona, Artemisia, an evolution of Penthesilea. In the Arena series, she is the leader of the Shadow Operatives, a group task with dealing with Shadow-based activities across the globe. Her group consists of former S.E.E.S. members

Ken Amada, and eventually 
Labrys. In BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, she is one of the many characters summoned to the Phantom Field to take part of the Cross Tag Battle tournament.
In the all of fighting game spinoffs she appears in, Mitsuru uses her rapier to poke and attack her opponents at mid-range, using misdirection to open up and exploit weaknesses in her foe's guard while using Artemisia to attack with ice and freeze them in place, as well as being able to Charm them, causing them to lose meter.
