A.B.A

From Dustloop Wiki
General Info

A.B.A is Guilty Gear's unique high-risk/high-reward character. She starts out every round as a generally terrible character with limited mobility and slow normal attack speed. But that all changes when she lands her Bonding command throw, consumes a bloodpack (Accent Core) or fills up her Jealousy Gauge (Strive). A.B.A will temporarily enter her monstrous Moroha Mode, granting her greatly enhanced mobility, attack options and solid damage. This comes at a price however; she drains her own hit-points every time her attacks connect with the opponent, even if it lands or is blocked while in Moroha Mode. This makes her a very technical character with a reliance on careful resource management and knowing just when to apply pressure with Moroha Mode.

In the story, A.B.A is a homunculus created a scientist named Flask, who was attempting to plumb the secrets of creating life. When Flask was taken away by the government, A.B.A was left alone for ten years. During this time, A.B.A realized that her ignorance of the outside world would prevent her from surviving in it, and resigned herself to an isolated existence. To cope with the inevitable depression, A.B.A began to collect keys to pass the time, and one day, she found a sentient relic called Flament Nagel. A.B.A fell in love at first sight (as the Flament Nagel is shaped like a key) and renamed it Paracelsus. She decided to give it an artificial body like hers, and ventured out into the world looking for a way to do so.
