Anji is an oddball character. Instead of rushing down the opponent with your normals, Anji uses his special moves that have Autoguard (some people refer to it as guard point An attack that automatically blocks certain attacks. Examples of this include Bang's Drive attacks, Baiken's Suzuran (63214K), and Nappa's Too Bad (214S). for simplicity)- a mechanic where he can automatically block moves during his own move. In the story, he is a man of Japanese origin. He ran away from the Colony to chase That Man out of curiosity. He wields the Zessen- one of the Sacred Treasures that make up the Gear-killing weapon, the OutRage.
As of Guilty Gear -Strive-, Anji is hired by Chipp Zanuff as an informant.
