New Mechanics
  • Z Change: Special Fast Tag
    • Z Changes can now be performed from special moves. This Z Change has different properties from Normal Z Changes. When this type of Z Change of blocked, it is affected by landing lag upon touching the ground, making it punishable.
  • Aerial Guard Cancel
    • Guard Cancel can now be performed in the air using 1 bar of Ki meter
  • Vanish Guard Cancel
    • 2 bars of Ki meter can now be spent to perform a Vanish Guard Cancel while in blockstun. This input is similar to Normal Guard Cancel, but Forward Vanish input (6MH) is used instead of Forward Assist button. Vanish Guard Cancel has a similar property as a regular Vanish, being plus on block at grounded Vanish height, however this move can be anti-aired similarly as well.
System Changes
  • Dragon Rush during Ki Charge
    • Dragon Rush can now be performed by inputting the Medium Attack button during Ki Charge
  • Ki Charge changes
    • Ki Charge can now reflect Ki blasts from the start of the move.
    • Ki Charge can be performed after guarding a Ki Blast
  • Sparking Blast change in Limit Break
    • While in Limit Break, Sparking Blast's effect will not run out while performing a combo on the opponent.
  • Chip damage from Z assists
    • Removed the chip damage caused by some Z assists
  • Cooldown adjustment on Z assist (C type)
    • Lengthened cooldown time needed before next usage
  • Vanish change
    • Now invincible from the beginning of the move if the opponent is performing a Vanish. This change is done in regard to the addition of Vanish Guard Cancel so that it is able to be countered by a Vanish on reaction.
  • Ki meter penalty adjustment after EX Special Moves
    • Ki meter increase is now dependent on time rather than of the opponent's status. This means that Ki meter can now increase after an EX Special move in a combo if enough time passes to bypass the Ki meter penalty time.
    • Lengthened time during which Ki meter increase scaling applies
  • New Jump properties
    • Super jump float is now installed from any move that leaves you in the air. This means that the character is now treated as if they performed a high jump, allowing them to float or fast fall after a move leaves them airborne.
  • Simple High Jump input
    • High Jump can now be more easily done by holding the Unique Attack button (S) while performing a Normal Jump. This simple input change helps doing Moon jumps (Dash High Jump) much easier.
  • Double Supers Damage Scaling adjustments
    • Reduced damage scaling for attacks performed after Super Attacks (excluding Ultimate Z Changes).
  • Jumping Heavy Attack (j5H) Bug Fixes
    • Opponent is now knocked forward when there is a camera motion. (Previously could get knocked backward)
    • Fixed an issue where certain characters could earn a Dragon Ball under certain conditions without performing a Super Combo
  • Crouching Heavy Attack (2H) changes on some characters
    • Increased active frames
    • Lengthened time during which the move is invincible to jumping attacks
  • Deflecting Ki Blasts
    • When moves other than Super Dash and Z Reflect deflect Ki Blasts, they now allow other moves to be performed like with Super Dash and Z Reflect. This change opens up more options to cancel into because previously, Normal Attack or Special Moves that deflect Ki Blasts would not offer the same cancellable options that Super Dash and Z Reflect would when they deflect Ki Blasts.

  • Standing Light Attack (5L)
    • Increased the attack's power level
  • Standing Unique Attack (5S)
    • Increased hitstop on hit
    • Adjusted knockback on hit
  • Jumping Down Heavy Attack (j2H)
    • Sped up the attack's startup
    • Increased stun time
    • Adjusted the opponent's position during the camera motion
    • The attack now causes a ground bounce during the camera motion
    • Reduced the amount of sliding knockdown during the camera motion
  • Dynamite Driver (263X)
    • Increased the attack's damage
  • Dynamite Driver (236M, 236H)
    • Sped up the attack's start-up
    • Increased attack's active frames
    • Z assists will now pass through the attack during movement
    • The move is now invincible to Z assists, and invincibility time has been increased
    • Adjust hitstop during invincibility
  • Flying Powerbomb (j214X)
    • Added invincibility to jumping attacks partway through the motion of the mid-air version
  • Hell Flash (236LM)
    • Increased stun time
    • Increased the grounded version's damage
    • The mid-air version will now be performed after moving when performed at a low height
    • Adjusted movement and amount of sliding knockdown for the mid-air version (j236LM)
    • Changed the motion of the attack when input with HS instead of LM
  • Z assist (C type)
    • Sped up the attack's start-up
    • Increased hitstop on the first attack
    • Adjusted the hurtbox before the attack

  • Standing Medium Attack (5M)
    • Increased distance moved during the attack
  • Jumping Medium Attack (jM)
    • Sped up the attack's start-up
    • Increased attack active frames
    • Adjusted the hitbox
  • Jumping Unique Attack (jS)
    • Adjusted knockback on hit
  • Sliding Sweep (3H)
    • Increased the move's attack level
    • Added invincibility to jumping attack partway through the motion
    • Increased attack active frames
  • Accel Driver (236L/236M)
    • Sped up timing during which the attack becomes invincible to jumping attacks
  • Finishing Driver (214X)
    • Sped up timing during which the attack becomes invincible to jumping attacks
    • Added invincibility to projectiles and Z assists partway through the motion
  • Reverse Gear
    • A super attack can now be performed if follow-ups are blocked
    • Shrunk the hurtbox for the 2nd half of the motion
    • Certain follow-ups will now cause sliding knockdown after the camera motion
  • Power Blitz Charge (22S)
    • Increased hitstop on block
    • Sped up the timing at which other attacks can be performed on hit
    • The timing at which a vanish can be performed has been delayed (except on point character hit)
  • Z Assist (B Type)
    • Increased hitstop on block
  • Z Assist (C Type)
    • Sped up the attack's start-up
    • Increased hitstop on the first attack
    • Adjusted the hurtbox before the attack
