The weirdest, least functional character in the game without a doubt. Dr. Paradigm was intended to be a technical character, somewhat like Zato-1, but they went too far. The rest of the roster cannot, in any way, prepare you to play Dr. Paradigm.
Not only does he share Valentine's low HP, but his abilities in combat are absolutely abysmal and his army can't fully make up for it without immensely smart tactics. His army has strength in numbers, but against those like Sol's which are brute force, they may falter.
This is par for the course. Dr. Paradigm has an extremely steep learning curve, but his Elites can turn the tide of battle and his own supporting abilities can be applied well in large-scale conflicts. Against other Masters, he has tools to disengage and save himself, making Dr. Paradigm the only character in the game who never wants to fight. He truly is unique.
Dr. Paradigm 
Dr. Paradigm is a non-combatant with powerful support abilities.
- Disengagement: Dr. Paradigm has many tools to get out of disadvantageous battles.
- Pure Utility: He has Skills and Servants for every possible match state, letting him take advantage of every situation.
- Cheap Servants: Many of Dr. Paradigm's Servants are dirt cheap, letting him get units out faster than other factions. He can form a strong foothold in the early game.
- Non-Combatant: He has a fighting chance nearly approaching zero against most Masters, even other low combatants like Valentine. No matter what you try to do, his combos are non-existent.
- Mediocre Army: While the Gears are not a bad tribe by any means, they aren't as oppressively good as Valentine's Army, which would completely justify Dr. Paradigm's combat weakness. Sadly, they don't, and are instead an army known for its troublesome Elites rather than its full composition.
