General Tactics

Bridget's gameplan mostly revolves around using his fantastic movement options and space control to score a knockdown and run his okizeme.

Neutral

Bridget's neutral game revolves around the amazing range and speed of f.S, and cancelling it into yoyo set, along with yoyo sets, razor roger (to stop projectiles, or zone), and seeker yoyo. Another tool is Kickstart My Heart into the P ender, as it starts up rather quickly, beats out many moves, and with controllable speed it is easy to punish or bait out things. Generally it's a bad idea to go in as Bridget without yoyo either out and behind them, after knockdown with 2D/P ender to Kickstart my Heart, or attached to them.

Offense

Defense

Bridget has multiple tools that excel on defense. Firstly, he has arguably the best non-secret character DP in the game, Starship. It has an FRC, you stay grounded for the entire duration, it's throw invulnerable and invulnerable until 3F into the active frames, it hits behind Bridget, and even knocks down with frame advantage for Bridget. All of Bridget's supers have startup invulnerability making any of them a valuable reversal tool, but the only one truly worth doing on wakeup as opposed to starship is Me and My Killing Machine, as it will allow you to immediately start mixing your opponent up reversing the flow of the match.

Tips & Techniques

Rolling Movement FDC

With a yoyo set anywhere on the field, Bridget can cencel his yoyo roll (214K) by FDing immediately after the roll becomes active. This shoots Bridget straight up into the air, and gives him an easy escape from the corner in addition to making the opponent unable to see their character by how high Bridget goes if down twice in succession after a superjump. After doing it twice, you can then airdash and recall the yoyo, ensuring it is difficult for the opponent to follow you out to punish you.
