Kokonoe is BlazBlue's long awaited character that was overpowered in her debut. Her Drive, Graviton Capacitor, summons a Graviton onto the field that attracts the opponent and some of Kokonoe's own projectiles towards it like a magnet. She also fights with a varity of gadgets she creates, such as a wrench

In the story, Kokonoe is one of the top scientists at Sector Seven, and 
Iron Tager's and formerly 
Litchi Faye Ling's superior. Her track record includes pulling out 
Hakumen from the Boundary, built 
Lambda-11, resurrected 
Celica A. Mercury and makes Minerva and assigns her as Celica's custodian. She's also 
Jubei and 
Nine the Phantom's daughter, but for some reason she doesn't get along very well with Jubei. She wants revenge on 
Yuuki Terumi for destroying her family.
In the Continuum Shift series, she is also the host of her own Fourth-Wall advice show called "Help Me, Professor Kokonoe!", who helps the player (and the characters) to not get the Bad Ending in a character's Story Mode.
