In Orgia mode Aigis has arguably the best mixups in the entire game, with unreactable overheads and quick crossups, she has instant high-low left-right mixups. Combining her mixup potential with easy to setup safejumps provides her with excellent Okizeme that can lead into high damage combos or another hard knockdown. Aigis' gameplan revolves around the cycle of Mixup > Combo > Knockdown, and her difficulty to defend against is her competitive calling card. Here are some of the most important tools for her Oki.
j.2B throws 3 grenades that lead to hard knockdown upon connecting. This is often used either to end combos with knockdown (Such as ... > 5B > jc > j.B > j.2B), or to extend combos in Orgia for a little more damage but worse Oki.
236D is Aigis' BnB Orgia combo finisher, as it leads to hard knockdown with plently of time for Aigis to prep Oki. As mentioned before, many combos that end with j.236D can be extended by popping them back up and finishing with j.2B.
22B can be used after knockdown to safejump with falling j.B. If the opponent is further away you may need to use 664 j.B to reach them.
j.B is an amazing tool for Okizeme, as it's quick, hits high and can combo into some high damage routes with a j.B > 5A extension.
j.C is an excellent hit confirm for Aigis, as it's fast and has a deceptively large hitbox. j.C > 5B also leads into some of her deadliest combos. Both j.C and j.B can be used as in crossups, but j.C's spacing is much more generous.
rising j.B > falling 4j.B is Aigis' basic safejump without toggling/using Orgia. If the opponent mashes the falling j.B will hit them, if they reversal DP Aigis will land and block before it hits, if they block Aigis is safe to continue pressure with 5A/2A. If the opponent understands how to block the safejump, you have a variety of options to open them up, including falling a j.B > j.A > 2A 50/50, a fuzzy jump j.B > j.C, jump canceling into a triangle jump crossup, fake crossup with jump canceling over them into a reverse tri-jump crossup, immediate tick throws upon landing and many more. If the opponent delays their tech to dodge the falling j.B then you'll need to mix up your options. Against Kanji you'll need to time a falling j.C instead of j.B to beat his DP.
6634 j.B is an orgia exclusive safejump that's used in okizeme, and leads into the same massive array of option as the basic safejump.
j 66 j.AC j.C a orgia crossup safejump where you delay your jump until the opponent starts falling, then crossup to get over them and j.C. Requires a tighter timing then the other options, but still useful.
j.9 j.AC 66 j.AC j.C fakeout crossup for when they start expecting the crossup oki. Not a safejump, so don't use this unless they're respecting your safejumps.
Important Terms
oad = Orgia Air Dash. j.AB while in Orgia Mode
hover = j.2AC
ml = mortar loop. 214A/B > hover > 214A/B > hover, while in Orgia Mode.
spml = sp mortar loop. 214AB > hover > 214A/B > hover, while in Orgia Mode. Costs 25 SP
The following combos are basic enough to get started day 1 with Aigis, and they introduce a lot of the important combo routing theory that she relies on. It is recommended you start by learning these routes first.
Basic Mode ChangeKnockdown and safejump oki
Very Easy
5A > 5B > 2A+B > 22B
688 damage, builds 7 SP.
Basic but still valuable combo into 22B mode change. Can be confirmed into from almost any attack, and sets up for an orgia 664 j.B safejump to continue pressure without fear of getting DP'd.
Additional attacks such as a second 5B can be used before the sweep if Aigis is close enough to the opponent.
Shadow Mode ChangeConsumes bullets, but has meterless extensions.
S.Aigis Exclusive mode change combo which leads to higher damage, at the cost of consuming some bullets.
There is an optional 5BB > 236C > 22A extension after landing to disable Orgia immediately after should you be close to burnout and want to start recharging orgia.
Corner only mode change route that has much better damage and meter gain. The jump after 22B must be delayed until 22B's animation ends, otherwise Aigis will just fall and the j.C will miss.
As with all combos that end in Megido, it sets up for safejump oki.
This combo uses an important Orgia SB Megido extension which is used in most of her Orgia midscreen combos. SB Megido spins the opponent in the air long enough for Aigis to land and setup a mortar to hit the opponent before they hit the ground. This lets her rack on damage while remaining safe to the opponent's burst because of how far away the opponent is during her combo.
If you have 25 meter and want to safely add damage to any confirm, the SB Megido extension can be used after any launcher, not just 5AA.
Aigis' Orgia instant overhead option during pressure is 66 j.B, so knowing a high damage confirm off hitting one is important for maximizing the damage of every opening you find. It's important to note that opponents take extra hitstun if they are hit while crouching (AKA they blocked low and got hit by an overhead), so the j.B > 2A link is far easier to land when the opponent missed a block.
This is also a great combo to use if the opponent isn't respecting your safejumps, and is getting hit by your falling j.B's while they try to press buttons to escape, as getting a CH j.B makes the link into 2A much easier to do on reaction. It also works well as an Orgia punish to a blocked Furious Action, once again adding onto the effectiveness of your safejumps.
One of Aigis' most rewarding attacks to land is Sweep, as it's a great starter with fantastic damage potential. This combo is both a great Orgia low combo, and a fantastic punish tool to the opponent throwing out laggy and risky moves (Like All Out Attacks or Furious Actions).
Anti-Air 2B OrgiaPunish air approaches with great damage and knockdown
A standard "Stop jumping at me" anti-air combo that stuffs air approaches from basically anywhere above Aigis. It makes use of the SB Megido extension to deal massive damage for very little meter, but can be ended early with just 236D Megido should you not have the meter.
j.C also works great as an anti-air button, and leads into the same combo as 2B.
Throw OrgiaLets grab lead into knockdown and safejump oki
Important damaging combo into mode change. Delay the Airdash & j.2B instantly after it. Only works mid screen, fails if Aigis/Opponent is in the corner.
