Overview

The infamous avatar of the sun.
The opponent dies.
Motonari has powerful reinforcements, specials that counter the fundamental rules of the game, unblockable techniques, and his BASARA technique which renders the opponent's reinforcements unusable.
The opponent dies.
He has many powerful techniques, from normal attacks to special moves, that make you want to say "You don't have to go this far...".
The opponent dies.
Although Motonari's speed is B-grade, there is no need to run in the first place, because the opponent dies.

Pros
Cons
  • Reinforcements: His assists are, simply put, crazy. He can use them to set up for a crossup, they can take hits for him, they can anti-air, and he can even hit them to change the angle that they fly at.
  • Super Setup: While the opponent is floating due to his super, Motonari can set up just about anything he wants.
  • Zoning: Motonari has the ability to zone his opponent out from anywhere on the screen, and can create situations that cause the opponent to reconsider whether they should even bother advancing on you.
  • Placeholder Con: explanation text.
