General Info
One of the first puppet characters in fighting games, Zato-1 is one of Guilty Gear's most unique characters. Zato attacks alongside his shadow, Eddie, to hold down neutral and force dangerous mixups. Traditionally, without his shadow, Zato is quite weak.
In the story, Zato-1 was the head of the Assassin's Guild before being killed by Millia Rage and was reanimated by his shadow (then going on under the name Eddie). In Xrd, he was properly restored as Zato-1 and works alongside his shadow again.
