Is it purely by chance that the American publisher of Arcsys games has a name closely resembling that of Arcsys? Like what is with Aksys anyway? Someone know the history there?

Yes, its some coincidence that it sounds the same, but in no relation that these 2 companies are the same, they are seperate, but Aksys does (and most of the time) pick up titles from ASW.
