I have a BB doujinshi that I don't think anyone on the web has scanned yet so when I get a scanner I was planning to scan it myself (dunno when that'll be though ~) You can try to scan it without breaking the spine? However, the side close to the middle will probably be cut off. Alternatively, take pictures with a camera. Sure, it makes for crappy scans, but you can keep your doujin in pristine condition.
